Based in London, James will drive talent management, cultural transformation, and workforce optimization, aligning with CDP’s mission to tackle environmental challenges through disclosure and action. With extensive experience in HR leadership across diverse industries, James is poised to enhance CDP’s commitment to fostering an engaged and high-performing team.
James Miller most recently served as Chief People Officer at GBG Plc, where he led transformative culture initiatives, international expansion, and talent strategies over nearly nine years. He was instrumental in overseeing acquisitions, reducing attrition, and building a globally engaged workforce spanning 18 countries.

Prior to GBG, James held key HR leadership roles at Adobe, supporting global business transformations and managing large-scale change projects, including M&A integrations. His tenure at Adobe showcased his ability to align HR functions with strategic business objectives.
James also gained invaluable experience as Vice President, Human Resources – UK & International at MTV Networks, where he led HR operations across multiple regions during a period of significant organizational change. Earlier in his career, James contributed to the success of companies like i-level, Tesco, and Viacom, driving innovative HR practices, cultural shifts, and workforce development.
