Chicago, Illinois, United States, January 2026 — Howden, the people-first global insurance group, has appointed Christy Taylor as Head of Change & Continuous Improvement, strengthening its enterprise transformation and operational excellence agenda across its growing global network.
In her new role, Christy Taylor will spearhead the development of a high-performing enterprise function focused on transformation and operational excellence, establish robust governance and risk-aware change enablement ecosystems, and foster a culture of continuous feedback and data-driven insights to enhance organisational resilience and performance.
Prior to joining Howden, Christy served as US & Canada Head of Strategy Execution at Mercer, where she led strategic execution across North America, aligned global initiatives with local operational priorities, and oversaw transformational programmes spanning Health, Wealth and Career segments.
She previously held multiple senior leadership roles at WTW (Willis Towers Watson) over nearly eight years, including Health & Benefits North America Operations Leader, Transformation Management Office Lead, Sales Operations Leader, and North America Chief of Staff. In these roles, she led large multi-disciplinary teams, executed enterprise transformation programmes, implemented operating models aligned to global strategies, and drove data, technology and performance management initiatives across North America.
Earlier in her career, Christy spent over sixteen years in Consulting & Actuarial Leadership roles at Willis Towers Watson, advising Fortune 100 clients, leading large retirement and wellness portfolios, and managing staffing, financial performance, and large consulting teams.
