London, England, United Kingdom, January 2026 — Clay Van Doren has started a new role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) at Avenga, beginning 2026 with a mandate to build on the firm’s strengths across application transformation, data & AI, and next-gen cybersecurity.
In his announcement, Van Doren highlighted what makes Avenga distinctive—its deep technical expertise and the opportunity to accelerate impact for clients navigating large-scale digital transformation agendas.
Before joining Avenga, Clay Van Doren spent nearly a decade with Atos, most recently serving as Group Chief Growth Officer. Over this period, he also held several major leadership mandates including Deputy CEO, Tech Foundations business, and multiple regional CEO responsibilities—CEO, Northern Europe & Asia Pacific, CEO, Central Europe, and CEO, Northern Europe—driving growth, transformation and customer outcomes across diverse geographies and industry segments.
Earlier, he served at CSC as Global Lead, Communications, Media and High-Tech, where he held global P&L and go-to-market responsibilities across a portfolio spanning communications providers, media and technology clients, combining sales leadership with offering development and large-deal execution.
Prior to that, he held senior operational leadership roles at BT Group / BT Global Services, including Managing Director & Chief Operating Officer assignments supporting large-scale global and UK businesses, major programmes and complex client ecosystems—including leadership for high-impact transformation and programme delivery environments.
In the earlier part of his career, Van Doren founded and led Veritel Corporation as Founder & CEO, and also held leadership roles in network strategy and engineering at US West / Qwest Communications, alongside consulting experience with The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and Kaiser Associates. He holds an MBA in Finance from The Wharton School.
