Dublin, Ireland, September 2024 – Canada Life Assurance Europe plc is pleased to announce the appointment of Cliodhna Ferris as Head of People Experience. In this role, Ferris will oversee all aspects of the employee experience at Canada Life Assurance Europe, focusing on enhancing workplace culture and driving strategic HR initiatives to support the company’s growth and employee engagement.
Prior to joining Canada Life Assurance Europe plc, Cliodhna Ferris served as Head of Human Resources at Unio Financial Services Limited for approximately 1 year and 6 months. There, she was responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies to support the company’s objectives.
Before that, Ferris was the Senior Executive Human Resources at Irish Life for about 2 years. Her role involved providing strategic HR leadership to the Intermediary Business at Irish Life Group, enhancing organizational performance and employee satisfaction.
Ferris also held the position of Senior Executive Human Resources at Canada Life Asset Management for approximately 1 year and 6 months. In this capacity, she shaped and implemented people strategies for Canada Life Group’s European Asset Management companies and worked closely with the leadership teams.
Her career includes a tenure as Senior Human Resources Business Partner at Brewin Dolphin Ireland for about 1 year and 4 months, where she was a member of the Irish Executive Management Team and played a key role in integrating two Irish businesses.
Earlier in her career, Ferris served as Senior HR Business Partner at Investec Ireland Limited for approximately 4 years and 5 months, providing comprehensive HR advisory and consultancy services and supporting various business functions.
