New Delhi, Delhi, India, May 2026 – Codingal has announced the appointment of Praveen Kumar as Vice President of Operations, as the company strengthens its leadership team to scale global operations and enhance program delivery across markets.
In his new role, Praveen will oversee end-to-end operations across teacher management, customer experience, and program delivery. He will lead teacher operations and community, customer service, and delivery systems, while working closely with sales, product, and customer relations teams to streamline execution and reduce operational gaps as Codingal expands its global footprint in K–12 AI and coding education.
Praveen brings over 16 years of experience across internet, edtech, and marketplace businesses. Most recently, at Apna, he led operations and played a key role in scaling annual recurring revenue from $0 to $11 million within two years. Prior to this, at Udacity, he helped scale the India business to $6 million ARR within 18 months and later managed a global mentor network supporting a $100 million business.
Earlier in his career, Praveen co-founded an agri-tech startup and held leadership roles at OYO, EduKart, and TACT, building deep expertise in scaling operations, marketplace dynamics, and customer-centric delivery models.
He holds an Engineering degree from Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, equipping him with a strong foundation in both technical and business leadership.
