Mumbai, India, October 2025 — Microsoft has appointed Dahnesh Dilkhush as Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for India and South Asia, where he will lead the company’s innovation agenda, driving technological growth and helping businesses unlock value from Microsoft’s AI and cloud solutions.

With over 26 years of experience in enterprise technology, digital transformation, and customer success, Dahnesh brings deep expertise in aligning business outcomes with advanced technology solutions. Based in Mumbai, he will play a key role in enabling organizations across the region to harness Microsoft’s platforms to drive impact at scale.

Dahnesh has spent more than two decades at Microsoft, holding a range of leadership roles, including Executive Director – Customer Success, India & South Asia, COE Lead & CTO – Azure, Microsoft India, and CTO – Partner Ecosystems. Across these roles, he has been instrumental in guiding businesses through their cloud transformation journeys, fostering innovation, and building strong, customer-focused teams.

Before rejoining Microsoft in 2014, Dahnesh worked with Cisco Systems as Director – Collaboration Architecture, India & SAARC, leading product sales specialists and driving technology adoption across enterprise and public sector clients. He began his career at Wipro Infotech, where he managed deep technical engagements for large enterprises as part of the Microsoft technical support team.

A passionate advocate of tech-led business transformation, Dahnesh is known for his ability to translate cutting-edge technology into practical, measurable outcomes. His leadership at Microsoft India & South Asia reflects a commitment to advancing the company’s mission of empowering every person and organization to achieve more through innovation and inclusive technology.
