St. Louis, Missouri, United States, February 2026 — Damone Brown has stepped into the role of Vice President Human Resources at Acosta Group, where he will support the Omnichannel Sales & Services division, strengthening the organization’s people strategy during a dynamic phase of growth and transformation.
In this leadership position, Damone will oversee human capital strategy, organizational effectiveness, talent acquisition, total rewards, and workforce planning across the division. His mandate aligns with Acosta Group’s mission to accelerate brand growth through integrated retail, marketing, and foodservice solutions.
Prior to joining Acosta Group, Damone served as Vice President Human Resources at Post Consumer Brands, where he played a key role during the acquisition of 8th Avenue Food & Provisions. Earlier, as Senior Director, Human Resources at 8th Avenue Food & Provisions, he led compensation planning, performance management, organizational effectiveness, and talent strategy initiatives, building strong HR frameworks to support operational expansion.
He also held senior HR leadership roles at Ascend Wellness Holdings, where he served as Director, Human Resources – Retail (National), and at Handicare North America (Savaria Patient Care), where he was Director, Human Resources – North America. His earlier experience includes HR leadership and business partnering roles at Oasis Outsourcing, Aerotek, PBL, Inc., and Allegis Group, building deep expertise in HR strategy, M&A integration, workforce planning, employee engagement, and HRIS management.
With over two decades of progressive HR leadership experience across retail, manufacturing, consumer brands, and professional services, Damone Brown brings strong capabilities in human capital management, change management, and strategic workforce transformation to Acosta Group.
