Tampa, Florida, United States, November 2025 – Slide, a technology-enabled insurance company redefining the future of personalized coverage, has appointed Danielle Scrozzo Oliva as Vice President of People Operations. In her new role, Danielle will lead the company’s HR and people strategy, focusing on building scalable systems that align talent, technology, and culture to support Slide’s continued innovation and growth in the insurtech sector.

Before joining Slide, Danielle served as Area Vice President, Health & Welfare at Gallagher, where she led large-scale HR and benefits consulting initiatives. Her strategic leadership in employee engagement, well-being, and compensation strategy enabled organizations to enhance workforce resilience and retention.

Prior to Gallagher, Danielle was Director of Human Resources at American Veterinary Group (AVG), where she designed and implemented HR frameworks to support the company’s national expansion and enhance employee experience across multiple veterinary practices.

Earlier, she held dual leadership roles as Director of People and Operations at The Sinclair Group and Vice President of Human Resources at Franklin Street, where she played a pivotal role in transforming organizational structures and driving performance-centric cultures. At Franklin Street, she also served as Director of Human Resources, overseeing talent management, policy development, and HR operations for over three years.

Danielle’s earlier experience includes impactful HR leadership at Pegasus TransTech (Transflo) and Network Synergy Group, where she progressed from HR Generalist to HR Manager, leading initiatives in employee relations, performance management, and compliance. With over two decades of HR expertise, Danielle has established herself as a trusted leader in people strategy and operational excellence.

Matthew Breitfelder is Partner and Global Head of Human Capital at Apollo, where he focuses on attracting extraordinary talent to the firm and creating an innovative, inclusive, high-performance culture that brings out the best in Apollo’s people. Matt leads Apollo’s recruiting, talent management, compensation, succession planning, citizenship, employee relations, development, and culture work. He is also a member of the firm’s Leadership Team. Matt is committed to expanding opportunities across Apollo’s workplace, marketplace, and communities. Prior to joining Apollo, Matt was Chief Talent Officer at BlackRock as well as a member of the Operating Committee. Previously, he held strategy, talent, and innovation roles at Mastercard, PwC, and CEB/Gartner.

Matt holds a BA in Economics from the University of Southern California, an MSc from the London School of Economics, and an MBA from Harvard Business School. He currently serves on the boards of the Lumina Foundation, the Aspen Institute’s Business and Society program, the Milken Institute’s Inclusive Capitalism initiative, and Georgetown University’s initiative on AI, Analytics, and the Future of Work. He is the co-author of numerous Harvard Business School case studies and articles on leadership. Matt has been recognized as a Top Global CHRO multiple times by n2Growth and Stanford Business School.
