Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, August 2025 – Danny Moseby has been appointed as Head of People & Culture Services at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers, Australia’s leading plaintiff and social justice law firm. In his new role, Moseby will lead people operations, HR systems, and employee services across the firm’s nationwide offices, driving efficiency and employee engagement in line with the firm’s strong values of fairness, equity, and justice.
Moseby has been with Maurice Blackburn Lawyers for over six years. Most recently, he served as Employee Services & Systems Manager, where he played a pivotal role in modernising HR systems, streamlining processes, and strengthening payroll and people operations. Before this, he worked as Payroll Team Leader, overseeing payroll functions and compliance while ensuring accuracy and timeliness across the organisation.
Prior to joining Maurice Blackburn, Moseby held leadership roles with Ascender HCM, serving as Operations Manager and ANZ Payroll Manager. In these positions, he was responsible for regional payroll operations and people services, delivering workforce solutions across the Australia-New Zealand region.
Earlier in his career, he worked at Talent2, where he built expertise as Senior Payroll Officer and Payroll Officer, gaining deep knowledge in employee relations, compliance, and HR service delivery.
Moseby holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Monash University, equipping him with analytical, strategic, and people management skills that continue to inform his leadership in HR and people operations.
