Milan, Lombardy, Italy, November 2025 — Dario Gargiulo has taken on a key global leadership role as Chief Client, Marketing and Commercial Officer at Gucci, marking a significant milestone in his nearly two-decade career across luxury, consumer brands, and iconic global fashion houses. In this elevated role, he will oversee global client strategy, brand positioning, commercial growth, and marketing innovation for one of the most prestigious luxury brands in the world.
Before joining Gucci, Dario served at Bottega Veneta for close to seven years, where he most recently held the role of CEO Greater China, based in Shanghai. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in strengthening brand equity, elevating customer experience models, and accelerating commercial momentum in one of the world’s most strategically influential luxury markets. Prior to this role, he served as Chief Marketing and Digital Business Officer and earlier as Chief Marketing Officer, shaping the brand’s global digital transformation, client engagement, and creative marketing evolution.
Earlier, Dario led global brand and marketing transformation at Diesel, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer. During this period, he was central to some of the brand’s most culturally resonant and award-winning work, including iconic campaigns such as “Go With The Flaw” and “DEISEL”, which earned global recognition for unconventional brand disruption and storytelling in the fashion industry.
Before entering the luxury fashion world, Dario spent nearly 12 years at Heineken, where he evolved through a series of marketing leadership roles including Premium Brand Director Brazil, Global Marketing Communication Manager, and Global Social Media Manager. His work gained international acclaim, earning multiple Cannes Lions awards for breakthrough campaigns such as “The Candidate,” “Meet the World in One City,” “The Dream Island,” and “Family Secret,” establishing his reputation as a creative and strategic marketing leader.
Dario began his career across internships and early commercial roles at Missoni, Aethra Telecommunications, and Heineken Italy, laying the foundation for his cross-cultural commercial leadership and deep understanding of consumer experience, global retail, and brand orchestration.
