Atlanta, Georgia, United States, April 2025 – Darnesha Robertson has been promoted to Vice President, Human Resources at Global Payments Inc., a leading Fortune 500 payments technology company. In her new role, Darnesha will lead strategic HR initiatives that support the company’s mission of powering seamless, secure global commerce across markets.
Robertson has been with Global Payments Inc. for nearly four years, steadily advancing through key leadership roles. Most recently, she served as Human Resources Director, where she was responsible for driving enterprise-wide HR strategies and transformation initiatives. Prior to that, she served as Senior Human Resources Manager and Human Resources Manager, focusing on organizational effectiveness, employee engagement, and talent development across the company’s U.S. operations.
Before joining Global Payments, Darnesha held the role of Senior Human Resources Business Partner at AutoZone, where she led talent management programs and HR support for multi-unit retail operations across the southeastern U.S. Her ability to align people strategy with business performance earned her recognition for building inclusive, high-performance teams.
Earlier in her career, she gained foundational HR experience as Human Resources Manager at Unified Health Services, Human Resources Generalist at Sedgwick, and HR Coordinator III at Medtronic Spine & Biologics, where she played a key role in onboarding, policy implementation, and employee relations.
