Held LLC, a global consulting firm delivering technical, scientific, and financial expertise to safeguard assets and mitigate risk, has appointed David Mackey as Global Head of Executive Recruitment. In this role, David will lead the firm’s global executive and leadership talent acquisition strategy, supporting its accelerated international growth and expanding bench of specialized leadership talent.
David Mackey brings more than two decades of international executive search and leadership advisory experience to his new role. Prior to his promotion, he served for nearly three years at J.S. Held LLC in Executive & Leadership Talent Attraction, where he partnered closely with global leadership to establish a direct sourcing model supporting both organic and acquisitive growth across markets.
Before joining J.S. Held, David was the Global Managing Partner at RDW, an international executive search and leadership advisory firm, where he led senior-level hiring initiatives across consulting, human resources, technology, and sales and marketing disciplines in Europe and the United States.
Earlier, he held leadership roles as Partner and Head of Practice at Zachariah Wolfe Ltd, Head of Practice – Executive Search and Executive Interim at Penna (an LHH brand), and Associate Partner at Green Park Interim & Executive Search, building a distinguished reputation in international leadership appointments.
David began his career with Strategi Executive Search, followed by client leadership roles at Reed Recruitment Group and Easy Resourcing Plc, where he specialized in senior sales and HR recruitment.
