New Delhi, India, September 2025 — Debasree Dasgupta will take over as the new Chief Marketing Officer and Head of Global Business Development at Pernod Ricard India, effective November 1, 2025. As part of a planned transition, she will assume full responsibilities in November and relocate to India. She succeeds Kartik Mohindra, whose impactful tenure saw Pernod Ricard India strengthen its market leadership, enhance brand equity, and navigate a complex consumer and regulatory landscape.
Currently serving as Global Vice President for Absolut, one of the most iconic spirits brands in the world, Debasree leads the brand’s global strategy, premiumisation, and creative transformation. Her leadership has positioned Absolut at the intersection of culture, commerce, and sustainability.

She has also been part of the Global and European Marketing Leadership Teams.
Her earlier experiences include pivotal roles at Reckitt, where she was Global Brand Director for Veet and spearheaded growth initiatives across developing markets. At Unilever, she was responsible for revitalizing the Lakmé brand and developing long-term innovation pipelines. She began her marketing journey at Titan Company Limited, leading brand campaigns for premium jewellery retail in India.
Debasree is an alumna of MICA | The School of Ideas, where she completed her PGDCM in Brand Management, and she further strengthened her strategic acumen with a certification in Design Thinking and Creativity for Business from INSEAD.
