Phoenix, Arizona, United States, September 2024 – Debbie Staats has been appointed as the new Vice President of Human Resources at HealthPlanOne (HPOne). In her new role, Debbie will lead the HR function across the organization, providing strategic leadership for over 2,500 employees, and driving HR initiatives to support the company’s operations and growth.
Career Journey: Prior to this, Debbie served as Senior Director of Human Resources at HPOne, where she spent over three years guiding the company’s HR strategy and operations. During her time as Human Resources Director, Debbie successfully implemented key talent management, employee engagement, and leadership development initiatives that helped the company expand its workforce and enhance its operational efficiency.
Before joining HealthPlanOne, Debbie held a 10-year tenure at Orora Packaging Solutions as Regional Human Resources Manager, where she played a pivotal role in reducing employee turnover and standardizing HR practices across multiple locations. Debbie’s leadership at Orora included talent management, change management, and employee engagement initiatives that significantly improved HR operations.
Earlier in her career, Debbie worked at Weyerhaeuser as Area Human Resources Manager, where she supported multiple plants in the U.S., providing HR solutions to enhance workforce productivity and streamline HR policies. She also held HR management roles at New Vision, USA Inc., Oberg Arizona, and PepsiCo’s Frito-Lay, where she focused on talent retention, compensation strategies, and employee relations, helping build strong and engaged teams.
