Hyderabad, Telangana, India, December 2024 – Deepak Bisht has taken on the role of Global Head – Corporate Centers and Environmental Sustainability & HSE Operations at Novartis, a global leader in innovative medicines. In this role, Deepak will lead Novartis’ Corporate Centers in key locations such as Dublin, Hyderabad, Kuala Lumpur, Ljubljana, Mexico City, and Prague. Additionally, he will oversee Environmental Sustainability and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Operations, ensuring the company continues to prioritize sustainability and operational excellence.
Deepak Bisht has been with Novartis for over five years, demonstrating exceptional leadership in strategic and operational roles. Prior to his new position, he served as Global Head – Environmental Sustainability & HSE Operations, where he led critical initiatives to enhance sustainability and safety measures across Novartis’ global operations. Before this, he was Head – Strategy & Innovation and Environmental Sustainability, Novartis Technical Operations, where he played a pivotal role in implementing innovative strategies and sustainability programs for the manufacturing and supply chain units.
Earlier, Deepak gained extensive experience at Johnson & Johnson, where he served as Associate Director – Supply Chain Analytics, building supply chain analytics capabilities, and as Senior Manager – Supply Chain Analytics, where he focused on demand planning and global training.
Deepak’s earlier roles at Cognizant and Hewlett Packard Enterprise further honed his expertise in business analytics, commercial excellence, and client management. His career began at Honda India Power Products Limited, where he managed supply chain and vendor operations, laying a strong foundation in operational management.
