Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2024 – Deepak Rao has joined Capacit’e Infraprojects Limited as the new Chief Human Resources Officer. With a distinguished career in human resources management, Deepak will oversee HR functions, drive strategic initiatives, and enhance organizational growth and employee engagement.
Deepak Rao previously served as the Head of HR at Millennium Semiconductors from November 2022 to April 2024. During his tenure, he successfully led HR operations, focusing on executive search, employee relations, organizational strategy, and performance motivation.
Before Millennium Semiconductors, Deepak worked as an HR Consultant from September 2021 to October 2022, providing strategic HR planning and transformation services to companies investing in India. Prior to that, he was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Shirdi Sai Electricals Ltd from June 2020 to September 2021, where he managed labor and employment law, employee relations, and office administration.
From November 2018 to February 2020, Deepak held the position of Head HR at Bisleri International Pvt Ltd, where he was responsible for executive search, employee benefits, organizational design, and strategic planning. Earlier in his career, he served as an HR Consultant from November 2017 to November 2018, providing multi-tasking office administration services.
Deepak’s extensive experience also includes his role as Head-HRBP and Talent Management at Piramal Capital & Housing Finance Limited from August 2015 to October 2017, and Head HR at JSW Infrastructure Limited (JSW Group) from April 2010 to January 2015. In these roles, he excelled in talent management, recruitment, appraisals, and industrial relations.
Additionally, Deepak served as Head HR at Mercury Travels from August 2007 to March 2009, and as Manager at Mastek from 2006 to 2007. He began his career at JSW Steel Ltd as Sr. Manager-HR from 2005 to 2007 and Asst. Manager at Deepak Fertilisers from May 2001 to May 2005. Deepak also has experience in sales, having worked as Officer Sales at Bennet Coleman and Co from May 1997 to May 1999.
