Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, December 2025 — Deepti Sachdeva has taken on a new role as Head of Learning – Workforce Transformation & UNITE at Westpac Group, marking a significant leadership appointment within one of Australia’s most respected financial institutions. In her new capacity, Deepti will spearhead enterprise-wide learning transformation, future capability building, and workforce evolution programs that support Westpac’s long-term people and digital strategy.
In her most recent leadership role at Westpac Group, Deepti served as Head of Enterprise Capability & Transformation (Culture, Capability and Leadership), where she led large-scale enterprise learning initiatives, including the highly acclaimed Data and Digital Capability Uplift Program that successfully reskilled over 7,000 employees and earned multiple industry awards for innovation and business impact.
Prior to Westpac, Deepti held senior leadership roles at Deloitte Australia, where she served as Director – Workforce Transformation, Human Capital, and earlier as Senior Manager – Human Capital, Workforce Activation, leading tech-enabled learning transformation programs, leadership development strategies, and enterprise capability architectures across major Australian and Asia-Pacific organizations.
Earlier in her career, Deepti spent over seven years with Be – Better People as a Learning Consultant and Content Strategist, partnering with enterprises to design future-ready learning ecosystems and innovative digital learning experiences that drove measurable behavioural and performance change.
Her professional foundation also includes an extensive career in media and communications with NDTV, where she worked as a Senior Producer, Foreign Correspondent and Journalist, bringing strong storytelling, communication strategy and large-scale content leadership capabilities into her people transformation practice.
