In his new role, Connell will lead the company’s financial strategy, corporate planning, business performance, financial operations, and capital allocation, supporting Dexcel Pharma USA’s continued growth and long-term value creation.
With more than 15 years of finance leadership experience across the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors, Daniel Connell brings deep expertise in financial planning and analysis, business partnering, corporate finance, strategic planning, operational finance, and commercial financial management. His appointment reinforces Dexcel Pharma USA’s commitment to strengthening its financial leadership as it advances its portfolio of specialty pharmaceutical products.
Prior to joining Dexcel Pharma USA, Daniel Connell was Owner & Founder of Connell Tax & Advisory, where he provided strategic financial and tax advisory services to businesses across North America. Before that, he served as Senior Director – Finance at Bausch + Lomb, leading finance strategy and business performance initiatives for the global eye health company.
Earlier, Daniel Connell spent nearly seven years with Bausch Health Companies Inc., progressing through leadership roles including Finance Director, Senior Finance Manager, Finance Manager, and Senior Financial Analyst, contributing to financial planning, commercial finance, and business transformation initiatives. He began his career with Johnson & Johnson, where he completed the company’s prestigious Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP) before advancing to Financial Analyst and Senior Financial Analyst positions. His professional journey also includes early experience as a Finance Co-op at Johnson & Johnson and as a Banking Representative at PNC, providing a strong foundation in finance and business operations.
