Baku, Azerbaijan, December 2025 – Dilara Huseynova has taken on a new role as Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Azercell Telecom LLC, marking a significant leadership milestone in her human resources career. In this role, she will lead the organization’s overall people strategy, strengthening talent, culture, leadership development, and workforce transformation across Azerbaijan’s leading mobile telecommunications provider.
Prior to her appointment as CHRO, Dilara Huseynova served as Human Capital Director at Azercell Telecom LLC for over two years, where she played a pivotal role in shaping human capital initiatives, organizational capability building, and employee experience frameworks aligned with business growth.
Before joining Azercell, she spent more than a decade with bp, gaining extensive international HR experience across energy and offshore wind businesses. Her roles included Portfolio Hiring Lead – Offshore Wind, Professional Hiring Senior Advisor (bp Türkiye), and People Advisor – Global Operations Organization, where she worked closely with global leadership teams on workforce planning, talent acquisition, and people advisory for complex, large-scale operations.
Earlier in her career, she held positions as Graduate and Intern Recruitment Advisor and Human Resources Advisor in Azerbaijan, building strong foundations in recruitment, HR advisory, and early-career talent programs. She began her professional journey as a Project Coordinator with the Association for Civil Society Development in Azerbaijan, contributing to development-focused initiatives.
Dilara Huseynova holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Human Resources Management from The University of Manchester, equipping her with a strong academic grounding in strategic HR and people management.
