Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, September 2025 – Morris Garages (MG) India has announced the appointment of Dinesh Gandhi as its new Deputy Chief Financial Officer, bringing with him over two decades of rich experience in finance, audit, and governance. In his new role, Gandhi will oversee financial operations, drive strategic initiatives, and strengthen MG India’s financial leadership at a critical juncture for the company’s growth.
Gandhi steps into this role after an illustrious career of over 23 years at Maruti Suzuki India Limited, where he most recently served as Executive Vice President & Chief Accounting Officer. In this capacity, he was instrumental in shaping financial controls, compliance, and reporting across the organization.
Earlier at Maruti Suzuki, he served as Vice President (Internal Audit), where he drove risk-based audit practices and governance frameworks, and as Deputy General Manager (Finance), where he headed Treasury, Forex, Employee Payments, and Retirement Benefit Funds. His career at Maruti Suzuki also saw him excel as Senior Manager (Finance), handling income tax compliance, transfer pricing assessments, and litigation, followed by a tenure as Manager (Finance), where he specialized in cash flow management, investments, and foreign exchange strategies.
Before joining Maruti Suzuki, Gandhi began his professional journey at PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Assurance and Business Advisory Services, where he worked on large projects including the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) and other corporates. This foundation provided him with strong audit and advisory expertise, which he carried into his corporate leadership roles.
