Bengaluru, Karnataka, India, April 2026 — Gaurav M Bhatia has been appointed as Executive Vice President at Brookfield Properties, marking a significant milestone in his leadership journey within the organization. In this elevated role, he will continue to drive strategic leasing initiatives and strengthen the company’s presence across key markets in India.
Gaurav has been associated with Brookfield Properties for over five years, steadily progressing through multiple leadership roles. Most recently, he served as Senior Vice President – Leasing, South & West India, where he played a pivotal role in expanding the company’s leasing portfolio and strengthening relationships across enterprise clients. Prior to this, he held roles including Vice President – Leasing (South & West India) and Vice President – Leasing (South India), consistently contributing to business growth and operational excellence across regions.
Before joining Brookfield Properties, Gaurav was National Director & Head – Sales, India at Awfis Space Solutions Private Limited, where he led national sales strategies and enterprise client engagement. Earlier, he served as Sales Director – Head, Enterprise Solutions, India at IWG plc, driving enterprise business expansion.
Gaurav also held leadership roles at CBRE, where he served as Director and later Senior Director – Advisory & Transaction Services, managing large-scale real estate advisory and transactions. His earlier experience includes roles at JLL India and Jones Lang LaSalle, where he built strong expertise in commercial markets, capital markets, and corporate real estate solutions.
He began his career with Nielsen as a Senior Client Service Executive and later worked with AkzoNobel, gaining early exposure to sales and technical service functions.
With over two decades of experience across real estate, enterprise sales, and advisory services, Gaurav brings deep industry knowledge and leadership capabilities to his new role, positioning him to further accelerate Brookfield Properties’ growth in India.
