Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, February 2026 – Dipeeka Walvatkar Pendurkar has been appointed as Vice President | HR – Employee Relations, APAC at BlackRock, strengthening the firm’s employee relations leadership across the Asia-Pacific region.
In her new role, Dipeeka will be responsible for managing complex and high-risk employee relations matters across APAC. She will lead end-to-end workplace investigations into conduct, discrimination, harassment, policy breaches, and other sensitive matters, ensuring fair, consistent, and defensible outcomes aligned with global frameworks and local legal requirements. She will also serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders and HR on underperformance, disciplinary actions, redundancies, policy interpretation, and organizational change initiatives including M&A, restructuring, disposals, joint ventures, and new market entries.
Partnering closely with HR Business Partners and cross-functional stakeholders across Legal, Compliance, Reward, HR Operations, and Enterprise Security, Dipeeka will play a key role in mitigating legal, regulatory, and reputational risks while reinforcing an inclusive and high-performance culture. She will also leverage ER data insights to strengthen governance frameworks, enhance processes, deliver manager capability training, and contribute to the broader regional ER strategy across APAC.
Prior to joining BlackRock, Dipeeka spent over six years at ByteDance as HR Operations Leader & POSH Internal Committee Chairperson, leading HR Operations Efficiency, HR Services, HR Compliance, Benefits Operations, and Employee Relations across India and APAC. She presided over complex investigations, strengthened operational excellence, and drove localized HR process automation and employee experience initiatives.
Earlier, she held progressive leadership roles at Amazon across HR Services, where she managed end-to-end employee lifecycle operations, designed ERC frameworks, strengthened onboarding and retention strategies, built HR dashboards for attrition analysis, and implemented strategic HR interventions aligned with business growth objectives.
Her career foundation includes HR Operations experience at BNY Mellon, where she assisted Employee Relations under the mentorship of the Global Head of Employee Relations, supported audits, managed employee queries, and contributed to induction and compliance processes. She began her professional journey with an HR internship at Cipla.
Dipeeka holds an MBA in Human Resources Management from Sinhgad Institute of Management. With over a decade of experience spanning employee relations, compliance, HR operations, governance, and risk mitigation, she brings strong ER strategy and operational expertise to BlackRock’s APAC leadership team.
