Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, April 2025 — Divij Sharma has been named Head of Customer Engagement at Prime Video & Amazon MGM Studios, marking a significant advancement in his 13-year career spanning digital product marketing, customer insights, and strategic growth initiatives.

In his new role, Divij will lead customer acquisition, retention, and product marketing strategies across Prime Video’s extensive content portfolio. His appointment comes at a time when the streaming platform is scaling up user engagement and content personalization, aligning with Sharma’s strengths in lifecycle management, marketing intelligence, and voice AI.

Divij joined Amazon in 2014 and has since held pivotal roles across Amazon Pay and Amazon Alexa India. Most recently, as Senior Manager for Alexa Marketing & Business Intelligence, he steered user growth and engagement through innovative go-to-market campaigns, brand partnerships, and insights-driven decision-making. His leadership helped scale Alexa’s ecosystem across India, encompassing both first-party and third-party devices.

Previously, Divij led consumer marketing efforts for Amazon Alexa and Amazon Pay, focusing on product marketing, performance campaigns, and customer research. Notably, he was instrumental in the launch of iconic initiatives such as bringing Amitabh Bachchan’s voice to Alexa, a first-of-its-kind project in India. His approach has consistently blended business intelligence with creative brand storytelling.
