Gurugram, Haryana, India, December 2025 — Dolly Sood has been promoted to Director – Talent Acquisition at American Express, marking a significant milestone in her talent acquisition leadership journey. In her new role as Director – Talent Acquisition at American Express in Gurugram, Haryana, India, Dolly continues to strengthen the company’s hiring strategy for key business and corporate functions. She now leads high-impact talent acquisition initiatives that support American Express’ focus on enriching candidate, employee and hiring leader experience.
Before this promotion, Dolly Sood served as Recruitment Lead at American Express in Gurugram, Haryana, India for nearly five years. She worked as Recruitment Delivery Lead, heading strategy planning, delivery and governance for specialist hiring across India and Singapore for core business and corporate functions, including financial services, banking and compliance, ITES and analytics and research.
Earlier, Dolly was Head of Recruitment Operations (RPO: Allegis Global Solutions) at Allegis Global Solutions in Gurgaon, Haryana, India for close to four years. In this role, she led India recruitment delivery and end-to-end recruiting operations, driving strategy, employer branding, social media engagement and process governance while partnering with business stakeholders to meet hiring objectives.
Prior to Allegis, Dolly Sood spent almost 14 years at Genpact India in Gurugram, Haryana, India as Sr. Manager – Talent Acquisition – Analytics. She led end-to-end talent acquisition for the Financial Services Analytics vertical across service lines such as quantitative analytics, consumer analytics, data management and reporting, commercial credit, financial crime and sanctions, and research and risk practice, building deep expertise in global analytics hiring.
At the start of her career, Dolly worked as Web Designer & Animator at Cogito Technologies Ltd in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India for about two years. As chief animator on multiple digital assignments, she handled design, animation, coding and sound editing, as well as e-learning projects, bringing together creativity and technology—skills that later enriched her employer branding and digital recruitment approach.
Dolly Sood holds a Diploma in Business Management from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad, adding formal business management grounding to her extensive talent acquisition and leadership experience.
