Englewood Cliffs, New Jersey, United States, December 2025 — LG Electronics has announced the appointment of Don Kwack as President and Chief Executive Officer of LG Electronics North America, effective January 2026.
As regional chief executive, Kwack will lead LG Electronics’ operations across the United States and Canada, covering home appliances, media entertainment, air solutions, commercial displays and associated service and support activities. In his role as LG’s senior-most executive in the Western Hemisphere, he will also collaborate closely with vehicle components, R&D laboratories and manufacturing operations and will serve concurrently as President and CEO of LG Electronics USA Inc.
Kwack brings over three decades of leadership experience within LG Electronics, with a career marked by deep international exposure and strong performance delivery. Prior to his appointment, he served as Executive Vice President and Global Head of LG Living Appliance Solutions, after leading the company’s global refrigerator business. His leadership journey also includes roles as President of LG Egypt, President of LG Greece, and Senior Vice President for LG’s home appliance business in the United Kingdom and France. At LG headquarters in Seoul, he previously served as Senior Vice President in charge of global marketing and sales for home appliances and air solutions.
Kwack began his career with LG in 1995 after graduating with a business degree from Hanyang University. He succeeds Chris Jung, who retired after serving as CEO of LG North America.
