Gurugram, Haryana, India – May 2025 – Oliver Wyman, a global leader in management consulting, has announced the appointment of Dr. Chirag Adatia as Partner in its Gurugram office. In this pivotal role, Chirag will lead the firm’s Health & Life Sciences and Private Capital practices in India, aligning strategic priorities with the country’s rapidly evolving business landscape.

Bringing over 18 years of experience across management consulting and healthcare leadership, Chirag has an impressive track record of delivering large-scale growth and transformation programs for clients across India, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. His expertise spans healthcare systems, life sciences innovation, and private equity-backed transformations, and he is well-regarded for driving measurable impact at scale.

Prior to joining Oliver Wyman, Dr. Chirag Adatia served as CEO – India and Established Markets at THB, where he steered operations and strategy across key geographies, blending clinical insight with business acumen to scale digital health and analytics offerings.

Previously, he spent over 15 years with McKinsey & Company, rising from Associate to Partner. During his tenure, he led complex engagements across healthcare delivery, pharmaceuticals, medtech, and private capital portfolios. He worked extensively across emerging markets, helping clients navigate policy changes, digitization, and operational excellence.

Earlier in his career, Chirag served as a Resident Doctor at GTB Hospital and was a Summer Intern with Unilever, providing him a rare combination of clinical, business, and operational experience that continues to inform his leadership in the consulting world.

Dr. Adatia has been a member of the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII)’s National Healthcare Technology Committee, and has co-authored several acclaimed industry reports, further strengthening his reputation as a thought leader in the sector.

He holds an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad, and a Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from the University College of Medical Sciences, University of Delhi.
