Katie’s new role reflects a bold transformation in how Barton Associates scales its people strategy to match its rapid business growth while building a cohesive, purpose-led employee experience. She will be responsible for modernizing people practices and enhancing culture across the organization’s 10+ offices nationwide.
Katie joined Barton Associates in early 2024 as Vice President of Talent Strategy, where she quickly made an impact by aligning human capital efforts with the organization’s business priorities and long-term growth goals. Her leadership championed high-performance culture, operational excellence, and innovation in talent development.
Before Barton, Katie served as Vice President of Talent Strategy (Chief People Officer) at LRS Healthcare, where she led initiatives around DEI, talent development, employee engagement, and corporate culture. Under her leadership, LRS was named a 2022 Leading Organization in Workplace Learning by ATD Nebraska and Katie was featured in SIA’s 2023 Global Power 150 – Women in Staffing.
Previously, she spent over 13 years with Medical Solutions, rising to Director of Learning and Development, where she was instrumental in scaling L&D programs, succession planning, and strategic onboarding. Her cross-functional expertise extended to operational leadership during critical staffing mobilizations.
Katie also held multiple executive roles with ATD Nebraska, including President, where she steered organizational learning strategies and talent development initiatives across Nebraska’s business community.
