Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, January 2025 – Anjali Velayudhan Menon, an experienced HR leader, has expanded her responsibilities at Sibelco Group by taking on the additional role of Global HR Business Partner while continuing to serve as APAC HR Director. In this dual role, Anjali will oversee global HR initiatives for Sustainability, Projects & Engineering, and Geology & Mining, while also leading people strategies, leadership development, and culture transformation projects across the APAC region.
Anjali Velayudhan Menon began her journey at Sibelco Group in October 2023 as APAC HR Director, where she successfully implemented regional HR strategies, policies, and leadership development projects, significantly contributing to the long-term business needs. Her expanded role as Global HR Business Partner further underscores her expertise in aligning HR initiatives with global organizational goals.

Before joining Sibelco, Anjali served as the CHRO at Dutch Lady Milk Industries (FrieslandCampina), where she led HR functions and was a statutory director. She played a pivotal role in driving cultural transformation and talent management for the organization, cementing its position as a leading dairy company in Malaysia.
Her extensive tenure at Nestlé, spanning over 15 years, showcased her leadership across various roles, including Regional Head of Talent (APAC and Sub-Saharan Africa), where she led a diverse team of HR experts across three continents. She also served as the Change, Organisation Design and Communications Lead for Indochina, and Corporate People Development and Employee Communications Head for South Asia, driving transformational HR initiatives and cultural interventions.
Earlier in her career, Anjali held positions such as HR Manager – Compensation & Benefits (South Asia) and HR Business Partner (North India and Nepal) at Nestlé. She also gained valuable global HR experience as an Associate Manager – Compensation and Benefits at Infosys, where she streamlined medical benefits and global insurance policies for employees across 46 countries.
