Before joining Siam City Cement, Raju served at UltraTech Cement, most recently as Executive President & Chief Technical and Sustainability Officer, where he led end-to-end technical, sustainability, manufacturing, innovation, and digital transformation strategies across one of the world’s largest cement networks. He championed multiple decarbonization pathways including CCUS, renewable energy transition, hydrogen adoption, e-mobility, and circular manufacturing initiatives, accelerating UltraTech’s net-zero commitments.

Prior to UltraTech, he held the role of Director – Technical Services, Asia Pacific at CRH, leading operational excellence, capacity expansion programs, cross-border integration, and technical strategy across multiple markets. His work strengthened manufacturing efficiency, safety culture, procurement systems, and strategic cost management across the region.

Earlier, Raju spent over a decade with Holcim across Indonesia, Malaysia, South Africa, and Sri Lanka, where he shaped technical strategy, built high-performance teams, and led large-scale plant upgrades, engineering programs, AFR initiatives, quality enhancement, and capability building. His leadership helped establish new technical governance systems and regional best-practice networks.

He began his career at MP Birla Cement, Holtec Consulting, and PDIL, gaining hands-on experience across process engineering, plant operations, feasibility planning, project commissioning, and technical optimization—laying the foundation for a four-decade career recognized for driving measurable performance impact and sustainable growth.
