Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, March 2025 – Ed Scully has taken on the role of Chief Operations Officer at Grill’d, a leading Australian brand known for its commitment to healthy burgers, sustainability, and local community impact. In his new position, Ed will oversee Grill’d’s operations across its 170+ restaurants nationwide, focusing on operational excellence, customer experience, and scaling the business sustainably while upholding the brand’s strong people-centric values.
Prior to joining Grill’d, Ed served as Director at Flex Point Consulting, where he specialized in business transformation, performance improvement, and growth strategy consulting for retail and consumer goods clients. His advisory work helped drive major operational efficiencies and brand elevation for multiple organizations.

Ed previously held key leadership roles at Coles Group for over a decade, including Business Category Manager for Vintage Cellars, where he led a 600-person team and managed end-to-end business operations across 100 stores. He also led a major turnaround as Head of Transformation at First Choice Liquor, crafting a new customer proposition and overseeing a complete store format revamp.
Earlier in his career, Ed was Principal at Kearney, advising ASX200 and multinational companies on transformation strategy within the consumer goods, retail, and energy sectors. His professional journey also includes roles at Lion Nathan, Peter Lehmann Wines, and a global MBA from Melbourne Business School, further enriching his commercial and leadership acumen.
