Lisbon, Portugal, January 2025 — Edgar Sabino has been appointed as the Chief People Experience Officer at Cofidis Portugal, effective January 2025. In this pivotal role, Sabino will focus on enhancing employee experience, organizational culture, and people development strategies to support Cofidis Portugal’s growth and employee engagement initiatives.
Prior to joining Cofidis Portugal, Edgar Sabino served as Head of People at Sky Portugal, where he led the HR function, defined strategic objectives, and managed talent development processes.
Earlier, he held the role of Head of Talent & Development and Interim HR Manager Cluster Descobertas at CUF – Hospitais e Clínicas, leading performance appraisals, leadership development, and employer branding strategies for the healthcare group.
Previously, he was with Bel Portugal for over seven years, progressing to the position of Senior HR & Communications Manager, where he drove internal and external communication strategies, CSR initiatives, and leadership development projects across multiple regions.
His earlier roles include HR leadership positions at NetJets Europe, Samsung Electronics, and Sumol+Compal, focusing on talent management, organizational design, and employee engagement.
