Edward Willard Appointed as Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic

Silver Spring, Maryland, United States, November 2025 — Edward Willard has taken on a new role as Chief Strategy and Business Development Officer at Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic, a key division of Trinity Health, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit, Catholic health care systems. In this capacity, he will be responsible for advancing growth strategies, partnerships, and business transformation initiatives across the region.

Before stepping into his new role, Edward Willard served as Director of Business Development and Strategic Planning at Dignity Health for nearly seven years. During his tenure, he played a significant role in developing hospital growth plans, spearheading partnership models, and shaping the strategic vision of one of the most recognized health care brands in the country.

Prior to Dignity Health, Edward was Vice President of Business Development at Intellimed, where he led initiatives in healthcare analytics and market intelligence, helping providers and payers leverage data-driven insights to improve business outcomes.

Earlier, he served as Vice President of Business Development at Guidepoint Global and Vice President of Business Development at Gerson Lehrman Group (GLG). In these roles, Edward established strong networks between business leaders, investors, and experts to support strategic decision-making. He also contributed to organizational growth as Director of Business Development at Corporate Executive Board (now Gartner), where he supported leadership benchmarking and performance improvement programs.

In addition to his corporate career, Edward is Co-Founder and President of Black Mountain Football Club, a global community promoting adult-based competitive soccer. He also serves as Board Member of Phoenix Rising Football Club–Foothills, continuing his decade-long involvement in sports leadership and community development.
