Vienna, Austria, September 2025 – Kathrein Privatbank AG has announced a leadership restructuring effective January 1, 2026, with Eleonore Leder set to take over as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and join the bank’s Management Board. This move underscores Kathrein Privatbank’s commitment to strengthening its executive leadership with proven expertise in finance, strategic transformation, and human resources.
Eleonore Leder has been with Kathrein Privatbank AG since 2019, serving as Head of Business Development, Finance & HR. In this role, she has driven strategic business development initiatives, overseen financial management, and guided human resources, while also leading digital transformation and complex IT implementation projects. Her elevation to the Management Board as CFO is a recognition of her impact and vision.
Prior to Kathrein Privatbank, Leder spent more than a decade at Raiffeisen Centrobank, where she held the position of Head of Business Management & Human Resources. There, she played a key role in shaping organizational strategies, strengthening HR processes, and supporting the bank’s business growth in a competitive financial market.
Before joining Raiffeisen Centrobank, Leder built a strong international foundation at UBS Global Asset Management, where she spent nearly 12 years. Rising to the level of Executive Director, she also served as Global Head of Education & Development, gaining deep exposure to wealth and asset management on a global scale. This experience provided her with a broad international perspective and a robust understanding of financial services at both strategic and operational levels.
Leder holds a PhD in Work & Organisational Psychology from the Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich (ETH Zurich) and the University of Potsdam, bringing academic depth to her professional expertise. Her educational background, combined with decades of banking and leadership experience, positions her strongly for her new role at the helm of Kathrein Privatbank’s financial management.
