New York, United States, February 2025 – Elizabeth Cirella has been appointed as Chief Human Resources Officer at Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, bringing a wealth of experience in HR strategy, talent management, and business partnering. In this role, she will lead people initiatives, enhance organizational development, and drive a culture of excellence within the firm.
Prior to joining Hughes Hubbard & Reed LLP, Elizabeth spent over seven years at EY, where she held multiple leadership roles in the financial services division. As Associate Director, HR Business Partner, she was instrumental in driving HR strategy, workforce planning, and leadership development initiatives. Before that, as Assistant Director, HR Business Partner, she played a key role in employee engagement, talent acquisition, and performance management across the organization.
Earlier in her career, Elizabeth served as Manager, HR Business Partner – New England Region Lead at Gilbane Building Company, where she led HR operations for the region. She previously spent over eight years at EY in various HR and audit roles, including Campus Recruiting, Financial Services HR, and Banking & Capital Markets Audit, gaining deep expertise in recruitment, talent engagement, and HR transformation.
