London, England, United Kingdom, February 2025 – Tesco has appointed Elizabeth Kelly MW as the new Wine Product Development Manager. With over 20 years of experience in the wine industry, she brings deep expertise in buying, product innovation, and sustainable wine practices. In this role, she will contribute to enhancing Tesco’s wine portfolio, driving innovation, and strengthening customer engagement.
Prior to joining Tesco, Elizabeth Kelly MW served as Buying Manager at Majestic Wine, where she oversaw sparkling wines, South African, Burgundy, and Italian selections. During her four-year tenure, she played a key role in sourcing and curating premium wine selections, elevating Majestic Wine’s product range.
Before that, she spent over eight years at Marks & Spencer, holding multiple roles in the wine buying team, where she was promoted to Master of Wine in 2020. At M&S, she contributed to strategic wine selection, supplier relationships, and sustainable wine practices, solidifying her reputation in the industry.
Kelly has also been actively involved in the International Wine Challenge, serving as a Senior Judge and Panel Chair, and has contributed to The Drinks Trust and Wine & Spirit Education Trust (WSET) as a mentor and business development coordinator.
Her extensive knowledge of wine sourcing, product development, and sustainability will play a vital role in Tesco’s ongoing commitment to offering high-quality and diverse wine selections to its customers.
