Alessandria, Piedmont, Italy, March 2025 – Emanuela De Franchis has taken on the role of Chief Human Resource Officer at Guala Closures, bringing extensive experience in strategic HR leadership, talent management, and organizational transformation. In this new position, she will lead the company’s global people strategy, aligning human resource initiatives with business objectives across Guala’s international operations.
With a career spanning over two decades, De Franchis has held senior HR leadership roles across multiple global organizations. Before joining Guala Closures, she was the People Director for Europe and Asia at Wittur Group, where she played a pivotal role in defining strategic HR priorities for the company’s long-term contract business division. She was instrumental in driving cultural and workforce transformations across European and Asian markets.
Prior to her tenure at Wittur Group, she spent nine years at Pernod Ricard, serving in multiple strategic HR roles, including Regional Human Resources Director for Asia & the Middle East. In this capacity, she led HR initiatives across China, India, Japan, Vietnam, Korea, Malaysia, and the Gulf countries, focusing on talent development, compensation strategy, and international mobility programs. She also held HR leadership roles at Campari Group, where she was responsible for global talent management and HR strategy in Italy and Southern Europe.
Earlier in her career, De Franchis worked at Mattel, Inc. as an HR Business Partner for Italy & Greece, before moving to Enel Group, where she managed M&A integration and change management for the company’s international acquisitions. She also held consulting roles at Accenture, specializing in organizational development and HR transformation.
