Singapore, December 2024 – Carris Chen has been named the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at Firmus Technologies, a pioneer in sustainable AI and data centre solutions. Chen steps into this key leadership role to align HR strategies with the company’s mission to drive innovation in sustainable technology.
Chen joined Firmus Technologies in January 2024 as the Head of Human Resources, where she played a pivotal role in expanding the workforce of Sustainable Metal Cloud (SMC) by over 500% within six months. She established core HR systems, implemented HRIS, and introduced workflows and policies critical for scaling operations.
Prior to this, Chen served as HR Leader, APJ at HashiCorp, where she grew the regional talent pool by over 600% and implemented strategic HR best practices. During her tenure, she acted as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, fostering cross-cultural collaborations across multiple geographies.
At LinkedIn, Chen excelled as a Regional HR Business Partner, where she provided strategic HR solutions across Singapore, Hong Kong, and Japan, focusing on talent management, organizational changes, and employee engagement.
Earlier in her career, Chen held HR leadership roles at Check Point Software Technologies and EMC, where she gained expertise in regional HR operations, recruitment, and restructuring initiatives across Asia.
