Emilie Krogh Hansen Elevated to Chief Operating Officer at e-conomic

Copenhagen, Denmark, April 2026 – Emilie Krogh Hansen has been elevated to the role of Chief Operating Officer at e-conomic, marking a significant leadership advancement as the company continues its growth journey.

In her new role, Emilie will focus on strengthening the processes that translate the company’s strategic ambitions into consistent daily execution. Her mandate centers on ensuring operational effectiveness while maintaining agility as the organization scales.

Emilie has been associated with e-conomic for over six years, during which she has held multiple leadership roles across legal, compliance, operations, and human resources. Most recently, she served as Director of Legal & Operations, where she led key functions including Legal, Compliance, Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), Security, Sustainability, IT, Facilities, and Communications. Her role involved aligning these functions with the company’s broader corporate vision while managing evolving risk landscapes.

Prior to this, she built and led the Legal & Compliance function as Head of Legal & Compliance, advising on contract management, vendor governance, marketing legislation, employment law, GDPR, and organizational security. She also took on additional responsibilities as Interim Human Resources Director, where she led the HR function during a critical phase of organizational development.

Earlier in her career at e-conomic, Emilie served as Legal Advisor & Data Protection Manager, playing a key role in implementing GDPR frameworks within a data-driven business environment. Her professional journey reflects a strong blend of legal expertise, operational leadership, and cross-functional management.

Beyond her role at e-conomic, she also served as a board member at November First®, further strengthening her leadership and governance experience.

Emilie holds a Master of Science in Business Administration and Commercial Law from Copenhagen Business School.

Her elevation reflects e-conomic’s continued focus on building leadership from within and strengthening operational capabilities to support sustained growth and innovation.
