Springdale, Arkansas, United States – November 2024 – Emilio Rivera has recently joined The Jones Center as the Senior Director of People and Safety. In this role, Emilio will be instrumental in overseeing the center’s human resources operations and ensuring a safe and supportive environment for employees and visitors alike. His leadership will contribute to The Jones Center’s mission of providing a welcoming, inclusive space for community engagement, recreation, and education.
Emilio brings a wealth of experience to his new role, with over two years at The Jones Center as the Director of People prior to this elevation. He has successfully led HR initiatives that supported the center’s commitment to its diverse community and workforce. Emilio’s career also includes serving as HR Director at Art and Wellness Enterprises, where he crafted HR strategies for several Alice Walton philanthropic projects, including institutions such as Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art and Whole Health Institute.
Earlier in his career, he held significant roles with Walmart as Sr. HR Manager – Global HR Optimization, where he developed global HR strategies to streamline processes, and Banco Popular de Puerto Rico, where he held several positions, ultimately becoming Business Innovation Director.
