Baku City, Azerbaijan, June 2024 – Qala Sığorta ASC is pleased to announce the appointment of Emiliya Mailova as the new Head of Human Resources. Emiliya brings extensive experience in human resources management to her new role, where she will oversee all HR functions to support the company’s growth and strategic objectives.
Emiliya Mailova joins Qala Sığorta from Ateshgah Insurance Company, where she served as Head of Human Resources Department for nearly 2 years. During her tenure, she played a pivotal role in enhancing HR policies and driving employee engagement initiatives.
Before Ateshgah Insurance Company, Emiliya had a long and distinguished career at AtaBank OJSC, where she spent nearly 20 years. Her roles included Head of Human Resources for almost 16 years, Chief Human Resources Officer for over a year, and Human Resources Specialist for nearly 3 years. Her extensive experience at AtaBank included leading HR operations, developing talent acquisition strategies, and implementing effective HR policies.
Emiliya also served as an Instructor at Esperanto for just over a year early in her career, where she gained valuable experience in training and development.
Qala Sığorta has a 20-year history of providing insurance services. Rebranded in 2015 under the Qala Sığorta brand, the company operates with a new strategy and offers a wide range of non-life insurance products. Qala Sığorta serves its customers through its headquarters, one branch, and nine regional offices, providing 27 types of non-life insurance, including 23 voluntary and four compulsory insurance products.
