Chicago, Illinois, United States, February 2026 — Emily Karottki has started a new position as Chief People Officer at Fooda. In her new role, she will lead Fooda’s global people strategy, overseeing talent, culture, leadership development, and people operations as the company continues to scale its workplace food platform across multiple markets.
Emily brings deep institutional knowledge to the role, having spent over eight years with Fooda. Most recently, she served as Senior Vice President of People & Corporate Operations, where she led people strategy alongside corporate operations, supporting organizational scale, operational maturity, and leadership capability. Prior to this, she held the role of Vice President, People, playing a key role in shaping Fooda’s people function during a period of sustained growth and market expansion.
Before joining Fooda, Emily was part of The Warranty Group, where she held leadership roles including Director, Global Talent Management and Manager, HR Technology (Global), building enterprise-wide talent frameworks and HR systems. Earlier in her career, she served as Manager, Human Resources – Americas at A.T. Kearney, supporting regional HR strategy for a global management consulting firm.
Emily also spent nearly a decade with Tribune Company, holding progressive HR leadership roles across human resources, organizational development, and leadership programs. She additionally supported Tribune’s New York operations through a long-term HR assignment with amNewYork, further strengthening her experience across complex, multi-entity organizations.
