Emily Kurtz Appointed as Vice President Human Resources at Power Stop LLC

Burr Ridge, Illinois, USA, September 2024 – Emily Kurtz has started a new role as Vice President of Human Resources at Power Stop LLC. In her new position, Kurtz will oversee all HR functions, focusing on enhancing employee engagement, talent management, and strategic HR initiatives.

Emily Kurtz joins Power Stop LLC as Vice President of Human Resources as of September 2024. Her role will encompass strategic HR management and supporting the company’s growth and operational excellence.

Prior to this, Kurtz was with Pernod Ricard as Senior Director, HR – Commercial Sales, Marketing & American Whiskey Collective for approximately two years and three months. She managed HR strategies across commercial sales and marketing sectors and played a key role in the American Whiskey Collective.

Kurtz previously served as Senior Director, HR – Sales & Marketing at Pernod Ricard for one year. During this time, she was responsible for HR functions related to sales and marketing teams.

Before Pernod Ricard, Kurtz worked at The Kraft Heinz Company in various HR roles over a span of four years and eight months. Her positions included Head of People & Performance – Global Growth & US Food Service, Head of People & Performance, Global Digital Online Growth, and Director, People & Performance – US Commercial BUs, Brand Build/R&D, Global Online Digital Growth. She focused on global HR strategy, digital growth, and commercial business units.

Earlier in her career, Kurtz was a Director, HR Business Partner at CNA Insurance for about one year and three months, where she supported finance and corporate services. She also worked at Exelon for nearly eight years, progressing from HR Intern to Senior HR Business Partner, where she was involved in employee engagement, HR strategy, and change management.
