Lagos, April 2024 – Reddington Hospital is pleased to announce the appointment of Emmanuel Okereke as the new Group Head of Human Resources. With over 15 years of experience in strategic HR planning, talent management, and employee relations, Emmanuel will oversee HR strategy and operations across the hospital group.
Before joining Reddington Hospital, Emmanuel served as Managing Partner at Avantgarde Consulting, where he specialized in HR and management consulting. Concurrently, he was the Head of Human Resources at Havana Specialist Hospital (HSH), where he excelled in strategic HR leadership and the implementation of transformative initiatives, contributing to the organization’s success.
At HSH, Emmanuel led a comprehensive HR strategy aligned with business goals, managed employee relations and automated HR processes, and oversaw performance and talent management programs. His efforts resulted in improved employee engagement and a positive workplace culture.
Previously, he served as a Human Resources Business Partner at Avantgarde Management Services (AMS), where he implemented HR strategic frameworks and enhanced employee relations for over 350 employees. His leadership extended to policy review, payroll administration, and talent management, ensuring compliance with Nigeria’s labor laws and international standards.
Earlier in his career, Emmanuel held roles at The GIG Group, where he managed customer experience and rescue operations, and at the Institute of Management Leadership and Productivity Development, where he designed and delivered induction training programs.
