Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, November 2025 —Equitas Small Finance Bank Limited (ESFBL), one of the largest Small Finance Banks in India, has announced the appointment of Mr. Manish Agrawal as President – Finance. A Chartered Accountant with over 27 years of post-qualification experience, including two decades in the banking sector, Mr. Agrawal brings deep expertise in financial strategy, IT initiatives, and governance frameworks.

In his new role, Mr. Agrawal will focus on strengthening the Bank’s financial stewardship and enhancing financial strategy, governance, and reporting practices. His expertise is expected to play a pivotal role in supporting the Bank’s long-term growth plans and digital transformation journey.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Vasudevan P N, MD & CEO of Equitas Small Finance Bank, said, “We are delighted to welcome Mr. Manish Agrawal to our leadership team. Mr. Agrawal’s prior experience includes heading the Bank Finance Function (Bank & Consolidated Group) at Kotak Mahindra Bank, and leadership roles at ING Vysya Bank and PwC. His areas of proficiency include financial reporting, management reporting, budgeting, IT integration, and regulatory compliance, both at standalone and group levels. His people-first approach and strategic insight have led numerous finance transformation initiatives across complex banking environments.

This appointment reinforces Equitas Small Finance Bank’s commitment to strengthening digital and operational excellence while upholding its mission of providing inclusive, customer-centric financial services. The Bank is poised to leverage Mr. Agrawal’s leadership to accelerate its growth trajectory as a trusted and progressive financial institution.
