In her new role, Erika will spearhead strategic HR initiatives, talent optimization, and workforce engagement efforts to strengthen organizational performance and culture alignment across the company’s U.S. operations.
Erika M. brings over a decade of human resources and business leadership experience spanning diverse industries including insurance, manufacturing, and consumer goods. She has been with Legal & General America for over two years, most recently serving as Human Resources Manager, where she led people operations and supported key talent and organizational development programs. Her focus on enhancing employee experience, talent retention, and performance-driven culture has contributed significantly to the company’s people-first transformation.
Prior to joining Legal & General America, Erika served as an HRBP Specialist at Diageo, a global leader in beverage alcohol, where she supported the implementation of people strategies across operations, talent engagement, and workforce planning. Her experience in a fast-paced, global environment allowed her to build strong expertise in employee relations and change management.
Before Diageo, Erika spent over three years at MAPEI USA as an HR Generalist, managing HR compliance, recruitment, and employee engagement initiatives across regional sites. She also gained strong business development and leadership experience in the staffing industry through roles as Regional Business Development Manager at Premier Employee Solutions and District Manager – West Region at A.S.G. Staffing, Inc., where she honed her understanding of workforce dynamics and organizational growth.
