Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, United States, June 2025 – Sargent Electric Company has appointed Eva Metzger as its new Chief Human Resources Officer. In this role, Eva will oversee the company’s human resources strategy and operations, bringing a proven track record in strategic thinking, employee engagement, and talent development to one of the region’s leading electrical contractors. Her appointment comes as Sargent Electric continues its rapid growth and focus on building a high-performance, safety-driven workplace.
Prior to joining Sargent Electric Company, Eva served as Human Resources Manager at S&B USA Construction & Fay for nearly four years, where she was instrumental in driving HR initiatives for large-scale construction projects and fostering an engaging employee culture in Pittsburgh.
Previously, Eva spent almost 12 years at Brownsville Marine Products, where she progressed from Human Resources Manager to Manager of Administration. There, she managed daily operations spanning HR, training, safety and environmental functions, and security. Her role was pivotal in supporting operational excellence across the company’s core business functions.
Before Brownsville Marine, Eva was Human Resources Manager at RJ Lee Group, leading HR and payroll administration, policy development, and organizational HR strategy for over two years. Her comprehensive oversight of company-wide HR practices contributed to streamlined operations and compliance.
Earlier in her career, Eva worked as Human Resources Generalist-HRIS at MED3000 for more than seven years, where she managed all aspects of HR for a physician network and was the corporate lead for the ADP HRIS and payroll systems. Her experience in HR information systems and compliance helped lay the foundation for her leadership in later roles.
