Baku, Azerbaijan, June 2024 – Fatima Taghiyeva has joined Agro Dairy as the new Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO). With her extensive experience in HR and a strong background in strategic leadership, Fatima will play a crucial role in advancing Agro Dairy’s mission to achieve greater success and growth.
Fatima Taghiyeva holds an Associate CIPD diploma in People Management and a Bachelor’s degree from Azerbaijan University of Languages. With over 12 years of accomplished HR experience, she excels in deploying advanced HR strategies, establishing strong trust and credibility with both leadership and staff, fostering a constructive and motivating workplace culture, and driving enhanced organizational performance.
Before joining Agro Dairy, Fatima served as HR Transformation Director (Ventures) at PASHA Management Company (PMC) for over two years. In this role, she provided strategic HR leadership for five companies across various industries, covering approximately 2000 employees.
Prior to PMC, Fatima had a distinguished career at bp, where she spent almost 11 years in various HR roles. She worked as a People and Culture Consultant for the Middle East and Africa, an Employee Relations Specialist, an HR Advisor, an Ethics and Compliance Investigator, a Policy and Benefits Advisor, a Scholarship and Marketing Advisor, a Recruiter for Experienced Hires, a Recruitment and Marketing Coordinator, and a Resourcing Assistant. Her extensive tenure at bp allowed her to gain deep insights and experience in employee relations and HR strategy.
Earlier in her career, Fatima worked at Internews Network as a Project Officer and an Admin & HR Assistant. These roles helped her build a solid foundation in project management and HR administration.
The history of Agro Dairy begins in 2014. Initially, the company focused on irrigation, planting, supply, and processing. Their first task was to identify unused land with significant potential for cultivation. Since then, Agro Dairy has invested heavily in infrastructure and technology based on a strategic partnership with the government, transforming these lands into productive agricultural assets.
