Islamabad, Pakistan – October 2024 – Fehmeen Anwar has been appointed as the Vice President – Executive Manager Learning & Development at Mobilink Microfinance Bank Ltd. In this new role, Fehmeen will focus on strengthening the bank’s learning and development initiatives to support organizational growth and employee engagement.
Before joining Mobilink Microfinance Bank, Fehmeen held various roles at Telenor, where she was responsible for driving talent and culture development. She most recently served as the Manager of Organization Development, after having worked as the Assistant Manager of Talent & Culture and as a Senior Executive in Talent Acquisition. During her tenure at Telenor, she played a key role in managing strategic HR initiatives, including talent acquisition, organizational development, and employee engagement.
Earlier in her career, Fehmeen was an HR & Employer Branding Executive at Discretelogix (Private) Limited, where she contributed to the company’s HR strategy and branding efforts. She also worked as a Human Resources Officer at the Army Welfare Trust, managing various HR functions, such as payroll processing, performance appraisals, recruitment, and onboarding. Her experience at the Trust helped her build a strong foundation in HR administration and management.
Fehmeen’s HR journey began as an HR Intern at Ufone 4G, where she gained valuable exposure to HR operations, including recruitment, onboarding, and HRIS management. This early experience laid the groundwork for her evolving career in human resources.
