Dubai, United Arab Emirates, June 2025 – Felicita Shanthy has commenced her new role as Director of Human Resources at Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, The Palm, Dubai. In this capacity, Felicita will oversee all HR functions for the luxury resort, shaping a culture of excellence, driving talent initiatives, and supporting the continued growth and distinction of this iconic destination on the Palm Jumeirah.
Prior to this, Felicita served as Director of Human Resources at Taj Dubai for nearly four years, where she played a pivotal role in establishing HR strategies, strengthening employee engagement, and supporting operational goals at one of the city’s most renowned hospitality addresses. Her leadership was instrumental in developing a high-performing team and implementing best practices that fostered employee satisfaction.
Previously, Felicita dedicated three decades to Taj Hotels in Bengaluru, serving as Area Director Human Resources – Karnataka and Director of Human Resources – Taj West End, Bengaluru. Over her long tenure, she led HR for four prime properties, achieved outstanding employee satisfaction scores, managed harmonious industrial relations, and contributed to major organizational initiatives. Her commitment was recognized with honors such as the FHRAI Award for Best Young HR Manager and the Tata Business Excellence Award for Best HR.
Felicita holds an Advanced Certification in Organisation Behaviour from Universitas 21 Global (with Distinction) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resources Development from Annamalai University, underlining her academic dedication to advancing people and organizational excellence.
