Fiona previously served as Chief People Officer at The Francis Crick Institute, where she led initiatives to reshape learning and development, health and wellbeing programs, and fostered a listening culture. Her contributions significantly enhanced academic training for early-career researchers and the delivery of scientific support services.
Most recently, Fiona was the Chief People Officer at King’s College London, where she successfully integrated a people-first approach into the university’s strategy, enhancing employee engagement and organizational vision.
Earlier in her career, Fiona held leadership roles at renowned organizations, including The Open University, where she was the Group HR Director, and Volkswagen Group UK, where she served as Human Resources Director. Her diverse experience also includes senior HR positions at Carillion Plc, BAA, and Superdrug, showcasing her ability to drive organizational growth and cultural transformation across industries.
